About St. George

Dear friends,

We look forward to welcoming you to our 23rd annual Festival!

Our community is eager to share with you the culture and heritage of our immigrant founders—a culture that comes from the very land of the Bible—and which has welcomed people of many backgrounds and ethnicities that now make up our parish and contribute to this Festival.

We hope you will enjoy our food and pastry booths, the music, dancing, crafts, bookstore, demonstrations and children’s games.

In particular, we invite you to the tours of our church. We have been honored to be considered a Fishers landmark. Come and see what’s under the gold dome: a church building patterned after 6th century models, vibrant iconography (painted directly on the walls and ceiling ‘just the way Michelangelo did it’), where the Bible comes to life.

We offer the Festival each year as our open-house to the community. We’d love to meet you and have you get to know us. Also, all Festival proceeds help us in completing the church and supporting our charitable work.

Fr. Nabil
